Good Food, Good Music, Good Will
Cafe's and music are an inseparable pair. Live @ New Moon is the initiative that brings the two together in our context.
And because of New Moon's connection to 150, it's not just about good food and good music; it's also about good will.
As we encourage and support the arts at 150, it's our desire to see awareness and funds raised for both local and global causes. Live @ New Moon will feature a variety of musicians playing at different times and for different events (and sometimes just because); yet these performances will always be used as a platform to highlight justice and compassion issues in the city and the world.
In summer 2010, Live @ New Moon will present The Sound Effect, a Friday night music series in the Cafe. Each month of summer will focus on a different cause, with June supporting Freedom In Creation, July supporting Love146, and August supporting our very own Burlington Freestyle. Look out for more musicians, events and causes like these in the future.
